Gives means Generosity
Give it your best. In golf people give their best and win, but
sometimes give their best and lose. Throwing your clubs and
cussing at some inanimate golf ball or worse yet, at God, is not
your best.
In life, when ever and where ever life leads, give
the Lord Jesus Christ your Best, in all you SAY and DO. If you
do, He has promised that with Christ you will always win even if
you lose.
John 16:33 (ESV) I have said these things to you, that
in me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
Give by providing the best of your time, talent and treasures to
the poor and needy, the hurting and helpless.
1Tim. 6:17 (KJV)
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
God has given and raised up his best for you in Jesus Christ His son. John
3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Generously give your best. Others are’a countin’ on it. Christ
is accounting for it.
Romans 14:12 (ESV) So then each of us will give an account of
himself to God.
